Keep PPI PCX2200 or get a JL 1000/1?

First post here! Seems like a more experieced bunch than other forums

I plan on powering 2 JL 12w6v2's in the near future. Im not really into HUGE SPL, just more SQ. Will going to a JL 1000/1 be worth it? Will I notice a difference in SQ over the PPI?

Yes the PPI is way cleaner sound than a JL 1000/1 a noticable difference

I agree. I know a guy who had the first 3 JL12W6s I bought on an A600 smacking a 149.7 on the dash.

(thats why I bought the A600 and 3 12s from him when he said $400)

Wow, am I the only one who disagree's?? The 1000/1 is more powerful for one and there would basically be no noticable difference in SQ. I'd go with the bigger badder JL 1000/1, of course this is just my opinon

I love PPI stuff but as of recently I've become a huge JL fan, I actually had that same amp (PCX2200) on a sealed box with 2 12 inch Kicker solobaric L7's in the back of my old Jeep for a couple years and it sounded great...and that was with the stock radio and a LOC.

Are good numbers, Im impressed by PPI myself and yeah when the art series were out was the time I heavy got into this stuff. I'd rather go with the JL, but since u already have the PPI PCX2200 , why spend the cash.
