Keep Blowing Right Front Tweeter Only

So in my Xterra I have,

Pioneer 8500 DVD deck

fronts: Hertz 165XL's

rears: Hertz 165's

Amps: Hertz 4hpd for door and one mono block for subs.

So my issue is this is my second blown 165xl tweeter in my right front. The shop who did the install is now saying they think it's my music that is causing it. I don't play it too loud and if I do turn it up, it's rare and far between.

So they think one of my music files must be clipping in the high frequency range and has more of a push to the right side which is why that tweeter is the only one that gets damaged. What's the chance of that? I would of thought it to be a wiring issue or maybe an issue with the amp, but they said no. The speaker is still under warranty so replacing it isn't an issue. I just don't want to keep dealing with this again.

Appreciate all your help

Ask your dealer to swap left and right RCAs to the mids and highs to test their theory. If you blow the other tweet, then.. maybe, pehaps they have a point. If you blow the same one again ,then it's the crossover or the amp itself.

Amp or crossover is bad.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I should have Monday off and I plan to do the rca switch at the amp and deck. This way I can rule out different components. Only issue I see is if the damage happens over time it will be hard to diagnose the issue, but hoping I can spot something during the test / switch.

The reason I recommended the dealer switch the RCAs (even though it's simple), was so they don't say you voided install/warranty whatever.
