keep blowing fuses

I have a fuse holder with 1 fuse going to a 6 channel mid amp and 1 fuse going to a 2 channel subwoofer amp. I keep blowing the fuse to the subwoofer and im not sure why? ive turned down the amp and im not sure what else it could be any suggestions?

when is the fuse blowing. is it blowing as soon as u turn the amp on or do u have to turn the volume up? also what size fuse do u have and what size is he amp?

its a 2400 watt 2 channel amp. A 60 watt fuse, and im pretty sure 4 gauge wires

what amp? is it a real 2400w amp, or a make-believe 2400w amp?

dont want to thread jack but i have a friend that i had buy a jbl bp1200 for his system (not a very powerfull system but usually a nice little amp to get the job done)... anyways the amp looks great but it blows the fuses when he tries to turn it up to not even full tilt.. there are 3 40 amp fuses. he is running 4 guage wire. no electrical upgrades. does he just need more power as in a bigger battery? maybe the big 3 upgrade.
