i only have experience with the kenwood and i love it. great deck out of the box with nothing else needed (ipod cables, etc).

I'd go with the CD 5030, because their head units are top of the line.

just got a cd5030 at a local authorized dealer for 219 since eclipse has been discontinued with a 3 wear warranty installed so i will put up a review in a week

kdc-x993 will have the best sound quality, at least compared to the Pioneer. I know because I liked the 700bt and listened to both h/u on the same speakers. 16 bit dac vs. 24 bit dac.

the difference between 16 and 24 bit is hardly audible in a car you need to have a very keen ear to tell any difference at all. Having said that im getting a 710bt as soon as the prices drop a bit. they have every awesome feature

My ears hear the difference quite easily. I do really like Pioneer though, I wanted something different this time around because Pioneer is all I've ever owned. Hopefully the new 2010 Pioneer's bluetooth feature is better than last years.
