I just got a 2005 kdc-x889 and I hooked it up and everything works..except when i go to change the cd..i can eject the cd..and then when i try and put a new one in..it won't **** the cd in and the faceplate is frozen in the open position, the tuner function works...and that's it...and the only way to get it to work again properly is to disconnect the battery for a few minutes and reconnect it..and then it works again..can anyone tell me what might be wrong?

Hold the reset button on the face while you turn the car on. I have the KDC-X889 as well and have not seen that issue. Also, who did your install?
