KB Audio running into problems?

Just saw GCAdidas' thread about them not sending him parts, and also received this in a pm earlier. Like on the crime shows, "names and specifics have been changed to protect the innocent."

"well, Sergey has had an amp of mine for around a month. He fixed it quickly and said he was sending it out the next day. Haven't heard anything from him in the last week and a half. Said "one my workers was supposed to send the amp off....seems like he didn't". Now I think he "can't find it". Also, a friend of mine paid him to fix another amp and Sergey "fixed it", sent it back to him, my friend used it for an hour and the amp went out again. He sent it back to Sergey (under the 30 day warranty he has) and then Sergey said he can't fix it. It's been ONE MONTH. Sergey hasn't refunded him any money, hasn't responded to his emails or calls, or nothing. Hasn't offered him another amp or anything...basically just said f it. This is getting bad. I used to trust him but now after he has supposedly lost my amp, he's ignoring my calls and emails and the voice messages that I leave on the answering machines."

This comes from a forum member who is pretty well respected, and has no reason to lie. Anyone had any work done by kb recently? Im hoping its an isolated incident, and not the start of a lot of problems. Anyone else know of any places to fix amps?

I thought kb was his own shop.....

I wasnt trying to down him, just wanted to see if anyone else was having problems with KB, or if the person I quoted above had an isolated incident.....

I dealt via email with a guy named 'Tony',always anwsered my e.m.'s & got back the amp in 2weeks,NY to New Mexico and back.

Sergey has been pretty busy lately. Helpers for his shop have been difficult to find since he is in a smaller town in New Mexico. He has been a little backed up lately, but he is working on everything.

I sent Sergey my PB XA3000D and he benched it before anyone else and had shipped it back to me the same day he got it. I will continue to trust Sergey with my amps, and only Sergey
