i still enjoy all them to this day, and more. but you can't tell me that andre nickatina's conversation with a devil: cocaine raps 3 wasn't probably the bays biggest album this past year. it was ****ing tremendous. as well as brotha lynch's ******* note. dubee's turfmatic is an instant classic, i can't keep that cd out of my HU. theres so much awesome rap comin out of the bay, you're just not up to speed with it obviously.

Brotha Lynch has fallen off hard. Loaded, ***** Deep, and Season of da Siccness are the only albums I still listen to. Lynch By Inch was the definition of mediocre....except for Death Dance, that's a great song.

I preferred Andre when he was Dre Dog, The New Jim Jones and I hate You With A Passion were great. He can still bring it, but not like he used to, specifically on Tears Of A Clown and Raven In My Eyes. And Bullets Blunts N Bankroll was horrible.

Turf Matic was decent, but there's too much filler for me. I prefer his self-titled effort.....mainly because of Khayree. The man could do no wrong back then.

And yes, I am up to speed with the bay, but when compared to the early/mid 90s, the music now is lackluster. Not to say that every artist is, as theres exceptions to every rule, but in general.

I thought B,B, n ah BBR was pretty dope. it was dark, kinda reminiscent of NJJ or IHYWAP. nick peace does some sick beats

you're right about Turfmatic vs. AKA sugawolf. khayree was one of the sickest producers. too bad him and mac dre got beef (or i think they still do, over that one album khayree released that had a bunch of remixes or something that mac dre didn't even know about/do anything on)

lynch's album was ok. loaded, 24 deep and seasons are still sick. i didn't like lynch by inch enough to buy it, and death dance is a sick song yes. too bad him and mr. doctor have their beef too. even though they weren't really lynch albums, i thought ones like ebk4, etc etc were still sick. but if you look less toward the bay mainstream and more toward the underground, there is some sick shit comin out.

Mr. Doctor is nice too....I still bump Setripn' Bloccstyle and Bombay occasionally....and Odysea too when I remember that it exists. It's a shame what has happened with everything.

Tech n9ne is one guy, go buy a CD with a dvd and watch it.....theres some guest rappers on, but its only one guy for the most port.
