Still working out getting the rest of the equipment for the build so this will be a pretty progressive thing over about the next year or so. Not many pictures at the moment simply because I only have had time to install the headunit, but let's get started.

Vehicle: White 1999.5 Pathfinder SE Limited

Subs: (2x) SPLAudio Fi Q 18's rebuilt to handle ~2k daily and to destroy the lows.

Amps: (2x) Soundstream RUB1.2500D's strapped at 2 ohms for the subs, and a RUB2.600 for the mids and highs.

Headunit: Alpine IDA-x200. Looking to swap out for a CDE-123 or something similar. If you want to make an offer on the Alpine then pm me.

Speakers: Lanzar OPTI6PM mids, haven't decided on tweets yet.

Electrical: Some Deka 9a31's, 2/0 for the big 3, 1/0 Knu CCA for the back (will be doing 2 runs when I get both the 2500's in), and an excessive amperage alt.

Like I said before this build just started so I don't really have any pics to show. It's dark out now so I can't get pics of what I have done so far but here's the vehicle I'm working with:

Needs a new muffler, rocker panels and some minor paint touch ups. Cleaned it all out today, spent a good hour or so vacuuming and taking out random trash left behind by the previous owners (I hate that shit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif).

More pics tomorrow on the headunit installation and possibly a big 3. Expect a box build as well as a false floor sometime next week.

For now since I only have the single 18 it would just be a conventional sub up port back box. Both boxes for the single and dual 18's will be tuned to 27hz with an unnecessary amount of port area lol. The box plans I have right now for this setup are ~5.5 cubes tuned to 27hz with 16-17 sq. in. of port per cube. Corey said because of how the sub is built it doesn't need a lot of space to do its thing, hence the reason for the 5.5 cubic feet.

Forgot to mention that the sub is actually built using the older generator Fi Q motor. As you can see it has the dual slugs whereas the new version only has the single slug. Corey also went to the liberty of making me some spacers for increased cooling since the Q can really only operate using a 4 layer coil. In the 2nd pic there you can see the 3/8" Aluminum spacers

I spy a N64 controller....just saying //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/sneaky.gif.7189749b3a3f769e8815b47e8ae87f88.gif
I was playing some DK64 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Tuned in, yo.

Once I get this set up and working I'm gonna need to hit you up about how it sounds cause you have been wanting to switch to the Q's. Also will get it TL'd. Hoping to break a 130. *fingers crossed*

with 1 18 im hoping your joking about 130s.... even tuned at 27 im gonna say low 140s easy
Yeah just joking haha. Curious to see what I'm gonna peak at, cause with my 97 I had a while ago it seemed very peaky at around mid 50's. Hopefully once I get a chance to go through and start deadening that will drop a bit.

Alright so this is what we got for some headunit/volt meter action. The dash kit I got has a 1/2 DIN slot for an equalizer, however since I am not using an equalizer I figure I would put that empty space to use.

With the cover removed:

Took the cover and cut out a space for the mini volt meter. Beveled out the edges with a file and then I just used some titebond to attach the volt meter onto the back of it.

Because the volt meter was a compact version it didn't have any casing over the circuit board so I wrapped electrical tape around it just to be safe.

And just a quick test on a spare PSU I have lying around to see how it looks

I'll snap some pictures tomorrow once it's fully installed in the dash. At some point I'm going to cut out a space next to the volt meter where I can slip my ipod into and it will plug in that way. Should clean things up a lot more considering I just plug in my ipod and throw it in a cup holder.
