Alright so this is what we got for some headunit/volt meter action. The dash kit I got has a 1/2 DIN slot for an equalizer, however since I am not using an equalizer I figure I would put that empty space to use. With the cover removed: Took the cover and cut out a space for the mini volt meter. Beveled out the edges with a file and then I just used some titebond to attach the volt meter onto the back of it. Because the volt meter was a compact version it didn't have any casing over the circuit board so I wrapped electrical tape around it just to be safe. And just a quick test on a spare PSU I have lying around to see how it looks I'll snap some pictures tomorrow once it's fully installed in the dash. At some point I'm going to cut out a space next to the volt meter where I can slip my ipod into and it will plug in that way. Should clean things up a lot more considering I just plug in my ipod and throw it in a cup holder.
