What are some thoughts on the KAC-9152D. I was looking to buy one for my car. I need a better amplifier for my 15's. I'm a Kenwood fan and was looking to purchasing this amp. Also if I get this amp and run it at 1 ohm how well will this amp hold out for long uses. What I'm saying is will this amp shut down over heating or does it hold out well with some abuse to it. I want to buy this amp soon so if I could get reply on it this would be awesome.

what subs are you using, how many, and what are the voice coil configurations?

yes, it will shut down, and not work after 5 minutes of usage. and then after being sent for repair, it came back, I went and had it installed again, and it is doing the same thing. Kenwood not has my amp again for repair

i have been told that kenwood doesnt hold out on stress by some people, but the ones that told me never owned a kenwood product. I want to power 2 p315d4 sub's at 1 ohm load. I'm not the best at wire cofiguration's, but if there is a way to wire them seperatly or something to get a 2 ohm load that would be better. From what I've seen there is no setup for making the amp see a 2 ohm load wiring 2 dual 4 ohm subs, but I could be wrong. Best bets I am.

Slow Z Rally what kind of subs were you using with the kac-9152d. Do you think i should get 2 and wire each sub so that each amp will see a 2 ohm load.

buy the subs in dual 2 ohm configeration then you can wire them up to a 2ohm final load..

My kenwood amp (KAC-X811D) plays at 2ohms all day long and never gets hot. I have never tried it at 1ohm though.

wat sub u play with u KAC-X811 ? HOW GOD THE SOUND QUALITY THIS AMP.?

i have played a bunch of different subs.. Honestly, i dont understand the sound quality of an amp.. I have never noticed an AMP making a difference in sound quality.
