Jvc Kd-g700

My JVC KD-G700 was working fine until today when i was playing an mp3 cd when all the buttons starting doing the wrong functions, like the folder up button ejects the disc, the track skip backward button just beeps, and the AM/FM button acts as the mode button.... is there any explanation as to why this may be happening? thanks for any help.

i tried reseting it a couple times but it didnt help any
