I have a jvc headunit that has 1 set of preamps 2v. My question is is it worth getting a better deck that has 4+ volt preouts or just use the audiobahn line driver I already have? The linedriver is 7volt. I won't be using the front and rear outputs if I do upgrade. Or is there a deck with only 1 set of 4+ volt outputs?

If you're only using sub preouts you'll never notice a difference, as long as you can match the amp gain to what the preout is. Use the line driver if you can't get the amp to full power with the 2v. If you change HU look for 3 sets of preouts, not 1. Having separate sub preouts gets you more control of the sub channel.
