I just got my X889 in. Pretty sweet, I still have to figure whats what. BUT... They decided to add 12 million wires in the back, and combined with my RCAs, there is no room for the player. Even if I jam it, it wont budge back. Jeep Grand Cherokees have a tight space to work with anyways, so its hard for me to cut a space.

So Im thinking I have to replace my RCAs with something smaller. Do they make any good quality stuff that isnt so thick? I think I have Stinger Dream Series? It's wrapped SO thick.

I have some really nice monster cables that are pretty small.

I just went back out and zip tied almost everything, and tucked the wires anywhere I could. It worked. Now I just have a quick question. My deck is 5v and goes to 30. My old deck is 2v and went to 80. Huge difference, but this deck is much nicer IMO.

Anyways would I have to turn the gain down (on the amp) a good portion, seeing it's an extra 3v?

set the gains correctly by voltage output. or you can do it by ear.
