So my Taurus SHO had 220,000 miles on it and was due for more in repairs than i paid for the entire car...so i went car shopping.
After a month or so of research, shopping, dickering ,and saving, I picked up and 02 Chrysler Concorde Limited for around 5,000$
Its a pretty **** pimp car for that price, black, chrome rims, high output engine, leather, the works pretty much. It has the upgraded Infinity stereo system with a CD changer and all that with it, and of course i am still not impressed... Its ok, but it will need to be improved eventually.
I'm not sure where to start exactly though, I've never had a car this nice, so i don't really want to go tearing into it like i have with my past cars, but i know i'd like better front components, and a sub at the very least. I'm pretty much past the stage where i need as loud of bass as possible, so a modest single 10 or 12" setup would serve me well.
I guess what i am asking is whether or no tit would be worth it to upgrade to nice comps in the front without amping them and getting a new head unit, because i'm not sure i want to replace the stock one.
I still have all the stuff from my old ride, like the HU, amp, ect (in my sig)
I was almost thinking of using my four channel amp, and using two of the channels to amp the front comps, and the other two channels to run a sub. But then i'd have to use an LOC to input to the amp, I've never used one before, are they decent?
