Just ordered new ZXS1500.1 what wiring

I just ordered a new kicker zxs1500.1 amp, and am needing to know what gauge power wire i need for the amp? I used to have a kx1200.1 on 4 gauges, would that be enough wire?

Well my amp came in, and I am really surprised at how small the amp is for a 1500 watt amp. My last amp kx1200.1 was probably twice the length.

My ram wont have any problems powering the zx on a factory electrical system will it?

You fuse to the rating of your power wire or slightly under it. And as long as your battery is pretty decent and your stock alt is 100+ amps (which I bet it is on that truck) you should be fine running that amp.
