Just ordered my new towers...what do ya think?

Your Kilpsch Forte II's don't need much power do they Jim??
I want to listen to a pair of those.... Care to send them this way for a month or three??
They rock with 8 watts or so...get louder than I care to listen to them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Really room sensitive though...that's the only reason I kept my EQ, because they are horn loaded compression drivers after all.

No way the sound as good as B&W //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.....

I see a dark and blurry video...I don't get it...what are you running for an audio setup?
LOL, sorry for quality - I was really ripped when I made it (hence all the lighting effect) :p The video was just to display the multiple devices in the room to explain why the breaker is blowing when I try to add another HT reciever, pointless post actually.

The current setup for the PC sound is...

X-Fi Platnium output with optical cable

VTF-3 MK 2 12" 700watt HSU Subwoofer 1.75 cubes @ 25hz

Harmon Kardon AVR 430 7.1 910watt Receiver

JBL E30 for front left & right

Infinity Primus C25 Center Channel Speaker

It's just that the 13,000 BTU AC unit that I have sucks soo much juice it's hard to have the Computer, 42" Tube, and HT audio on all at once. So I was thinking of using that design by Pete which he makes sound amazing.

Your probabaly right though, by saying "I'd be better off using a more coventional design"

Ok, you both send them to me, and I'll be the judge. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

You can come listen to my stuff anytime! You'll like it better than the systems owned by those crazy tube people and those crazy people with electrostatics //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.... No offence Jim/Beat.....

I'd like to hear it, but I need an excuse to come up to Cincy though...

Sounds like your purposes are better served by power management than new speakers...

And don't give Pete too much credit for that design, it's been around for a long time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
