I currently have a single Audioblah AW120T. single 4 ohm in a passive rad box , 2cf tuned to approx 30hz. i have only a 12" passive rad though, so low end output is lacking a bit, but still is fairly loud. sounds like *** though. I want a cheap sub that can be louder than what i have now, and actually hit notes. I was considering a maw mach 5 15". i was planning on a sealed box about the same size as the one i have now,(2-2.5cf). Being xmas, and being a bit tight for cash it would be the best i could afford atm. Does anyone have any input to which could get louder, and we all know what would sound better. Just checking if that is a viable option for the time being, as in a few months i plan on buying either a rlp 15, a fiq 15, or an idmax 12 for a more permanent setup but am craving a bit better bass for the moment. thanks for any input.

well not anything cause i still have 2 12" jensens from 7 or 8 years ago that dont sound as good. sure they sound cleaner, but output is no where near the same, and i am not willing to sacrifice the output for the slight sq gain.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif anyways back on topic, will a maw 15" out do a single 12" audiobling? in sq and output in a sealed box 2-2.5cf.

very low, like $100cdn. that is why i am considering the mach 5. like i said i will be upgrading significantly in a few months, but for now i crave more. I guess i could stretch it to $150cdn if i had to. for those who know nothing about canada that is aboot $130-135 us.

i would love to, but who know what will happen in the next few months. i could have to hold off for a while if something comes up. I am planning on buying a house in the next year, or 2 cause i am sick of paying off my landlords morgage so like i said unexpected expenses come up often. car repairs, apt repairs.(my landlord is a real good guy, so i fix everything myself.) I am almost satisfied with the audiobling. i have had it for 4 years, and it still keeps going, but i am past the just loud stage, and want some sq as well.

bump, no one has any input to wether or not 1 15" mach 5 maw. will be louder than the audiobling.
