Just not satisfied with RE SR

The sub is rated 300w, the amp is rated 6-700wrms the sub is taking probably about 4-500wrms.
Does anyone have experience with the sundowns sealed?

it just needs a bigger box. people put far too much stock into power handling for daily driver systems. if your sub really is taking that much power (might be due to small box), then you'd have to get up close to 1000 to significantly improve output in that same box. since i believe the box is more of a problem than power, i'd say you get a sub or subs that will fit in an optimal enclosure behind your seat.

you did something wrong then. getting a p2 was the first mistake. if you can actually get a sealed 12 in 1.0 cubes to sound bad, then i'd bet it was a poor install, or a poorly built enclosure.

Sounds good to me, i think i will try and pick up a couple pairs of sundowns.
