i had a problem earlier with one of my buddy's amp

i told him to unplug the battery cable so i could unplug all the wires from the amp and move his sub around and wire it back up

as i thought the battery cable was off i plugged in the power wire first and it like sparked and stuff and i just pulled it away real fast

will this be a problem in the future

If it is a new amp. Then the sparks are natural. mainly caused by the caps charging inside the amp, once removed and put back after this, you wont see that. unless the amp has been sitting for awhile before reinstalling.
