i just went to my local car audio shop, http://www.musicinmotion.net and i had 2 bass test tracks on a cd, when we tested those, the highest i hit was 149.5 then i put in the young jeezy cd and it stayed at a steady 149.6, i couldnt get it to 150!. I'm running two 12" L7's, a kx1200.1 and a custom 6 cubic foot ported box tuned to 33hz. i didnt think i would hit so high

If its an accurate mic, then 149 is damn good with music! Is that a daily vehicle?

music in motion, hehehe they **** at life. i believe they're using the old AC mic??? its not a Termlab i know that. i dont take that shop seriously after one of em told me he did a 142 at a show but he would have done a '149 if my amps were charged up'

shit i dunno which meter it was but the mic was long and he put it on my dash, i have a 2005 chevy equinox and the whole spl meter and the display were in a big carrying case, it was a pretty big meter, it was all black i forgot to check out what kind it was, can someone list the most popular spl meters and ill try to find it and let yall know which one they used?

add another kx1200.1 and in a perfect world you would be at about 152.6. those l7s can easily take 1200w a piece.

This is off topic, but I hate shops like those, not really the shop but the people who usually get their stuff done their. I checked out the musicinmotion website and it has a hummer with 6 13" w7's in a wall, nice looking install, but I bet the person who owns it wouldn't know the difference between a vc and a spider.
