understand that the install killed it.

i took 2 orion h2 12's and daily beat them IN A TRUNK and got them to a 148.9db (termlab)

trust me they do get loud ... but they are not the best woofer for long play if you give them there rated wattage (which i think is over rated)

also the d5000 is rated at 2500@1om but give around 3200 rms

yea, i need to point out that there was never a comparison in my mind, i just didnt think there would be such an overwhelming difference...especially considering he's running 2500 and im running 1700ish...RE prevails again...

mine is in a big box, 6 cubes tuned to like 43 or 44, I just threw it in a box to see how it would sound, it was loud but not as loud as im used to. It's on a Viper 1200

SHouldn't judge the sub based on the dude's sh!tty instally. I had my 12" H2 running off 500w in a 2.5 cu. ft. enclosure sometime back and the sq definitely is not there so I would really recommend having a good front stage. It did get pretty loud with such little power and I wouldn't mind owning another one...though if I had to pay for it I'd choose something else because I like tryin out new stuff.

my friends got a 15" MX in 3.4 to 34 i believe and that ***** destroys the lows not so good on the highs...id recommend tuning lower then see how it is
