Just had some FOCAL 165 a1's installed (They sound like crap!)

Ah, sorry for my absence. Was so angry about the speaker thing I just had to get some sleep to cool off.

The reason why it was a little more pricey was that I had some dynamat installed with them. Was an extra 90 for that.

A new deck....? Well I had a old clarion CD player installed a couple months ago. That's what made me want to upgrade my sound system.

Oh yes. I have also realized that the back right speaker is almost totally dead. I moved the sound all to the back and all to the right to test it out. And it barely makes a whimper. The other three are fine. Are the focals so power hungry that the deck can only output to three speakers? Or did Car Toys mess up again?

no...you must have a pinched wire or they have that speaker wired out of phase...you need to bring it back before it burns out your deck amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

a stray strand of wire on the passive crossover can cause that as well.....
