Just great! blown again

ok this is the second time my sub has blown on me ok heres the break down have 3 10" subs in a sealed box to small. But there must be something wrong with my box becuase this is the second time its happened. I have a warrenty so I get a free replacement for free just have to pay shipping but check this out I have the 3 subs in a row and the first time the middle one blew well it doesn't really blow I think the dustcap just gets loose becuase I tested it with a DMM and it says its fine it doesnt get louder or quieter it just makes a horrible rattling noise same noise as if you put you knuckles on the sub while its playing and then when the blown sub is playing I kind of push the cone down allitle bit just put allitle pressure to it and then you can't hear it. no air leaks on the top so I'm prob going check the bottom and sides tonite. So I get my brand new sub back and 3 weeks later hear I am same problem a bad rattleing noise from the sub and its from the one in the middle of the box same spot as where the last one blew. It has no smell tinsels I looked at them look fine dmm says there fine so fustrating. Do think it could be doing this from air leaks or what.

even though the coils read fine...the coil can still be scratching...happened to one of my 9512's...made a rattling noise, put my hand on it and it stopped, coils read fine, but the coil was scratching a smidgen.

ok so the coil's scratching can I do anything to fix it or its just done

If you are overpowering them, not thermally but mechanically, and they reach the end of their travel in either direction, you will damage the coil and/or knock it out of alignment. Mechanical power handling is governed by Xmax/Xsus and will usually be lower in a sealed box than in a ported one (above tuning freq of the ported box). In most all cases (SPL burps being the notable exception) mechanical power handling is going to be lower than thermal (rated) power handling.
