Just got my comps! Should I install?

Well I just got the CDT-CL61a's in the mail about 5 minutes ago. I was planning on waiting until I got my headunit and amp before I installed them but now I'm so inpatient and I want to install / hear them. It'll take at least another week or two for them to get here..

Would it be a bad idea to hook it up to my stock headunit? I think there may even be a factory amp, I have the Infinity stock system. (Dodge Dakota 2000)

I don't want to **** em up before I get to power them with a nice amp.

I'm thinking about just mounting them anyways so it'll be one less step when I get the amp. All of my speakers are blown (except for the tweeters... i think?) so I really don't care going a week without distorted music.

i would just get them all mounted up, but dont wire them up
