just got metered today!!!

well i had my car at a local shop today and my buddy had the mic with them. i have wanted to meter my 2 Blaupunkt Overdrive 12"s since i got them and was hoping to not be upset. well i hit a 145.9 on the dash in a 4.5cuft single chamber sealed box. not too shabby or bad?? i'm happy with it but i think i may have to port it and try to get an upper 140's on the dash. the mic i think was audiocontrol is that a crap meter or good or decent?? oh and the freq. i hit it at was 40hz.

Was it like a hand held mic? Cause dude if u gonna post using that meter...then i am gonna go get mine done as soon as I got tha MTX amp.

145 is real good for two twelves i never got two of my four last twelves metered

yeah a buddy of mine is having a lil show in november the 1st week i think and he's gonna have the linear x meter i hope. i plan on porting that enclosure you guys think i could get upper 140's with that setup. yeah i was actually kinda surprised i hit 145 on the dash i figured i might get like 140-141ish but hey i'm happy for 20bucks for those 2 subs and 150 for the box.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif oh and yes linear X is the devil!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah it's a jimmy but how did you know that goodyforme?? most people think i have a blazer b/c of the name. ahywho it's really nothing special box wise i have them top faced flat firing in a 4.5cuft before displacment sealed box. it's sealed really well and that's about all it's more the fact of having roughly 150sq. ft. of dynamat xtreme in there that helps.
