Just got back from having the Kicker 2-channel installed in place of the 4-channel

That is out for repair. Don't know if I have more power going to the fronts now or not. My Kicker 4-channel was a 800.4 so I had two going to the rears and two to the fronts. I wanted to get more power to the fronts so today a different audio place hooked up the Kicker 2-channel 550.2 for me. They have it hooked up I think Stereo where my fronts and rears are all together (no fade control). It seems I have more power to the fronts since my tweets seem to blare a little more and I am pretty sure the mids are driving more. Only problem is I think it may have made things worse. The tweets are fine but the mids at 5.25's just aren't up to snuff. He asked me how come I didn't go with a 6.5 but agreed it would have been hard to fit. Now I am thinking about changing the 5.25's to a good 6" if it would help. Who makes a killer 6" mid?

Anyone know how to figure the power on this thing now? I can tell the tweets and mids seem to be doing more but.... believe it or not it doesn't really sound better than with the 4-channel in place. I am thinking I should have started with a pair of speaker pods! Maybe that would have imaged it right!

Doors are deadened with Dynamat mounted in the stock location. Don't have a seperate EQ and can't answer the first two because I didn't set it up.
