Just got back from an interview

At ACS (Affiliated Computer Services) for a data entry position. I had to drive 1.5 hours to get there, and there were 4 people waiting to be interviewed. All 4 of us went into a room where some woman went over all the things about the business and asked if anyone has had experience with data entry or government security clearance. I was the only one that had experience with both and could answer all her questions so I am hoping I get the job. They only need to people for the office down here where I live, and there is about ~8 people applying. I really aced the personal interview with the manager too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I was the last one to be interviewed individually so I had to sit outside her office, and while sitting out there I was able to hear every question that was being asked, so when I had plenty of time to think of good replies. When I went in there I was well prepped lol.

yeah this job pays alot more than what i get now and I don't have to do anything but type.

The lowest amount I can make is $10.04/hour which is **** good pay around here, and the most I can make is like unlimited. It's an incentive based job, so the faster you type the more money you get. They said the average is about $13/hour. Plus the job has full benefits 401K and even pet insurance lol

I used to work for that same company here. I did kinda the same thing. It turned out really nice, pay was great I averaged about 14/hr. Worked there for about a year and got some good expericence

good job on the interview part - but sounds like a boring job just typing all day.

maybe you can do it for 6 months and then try to get in a supervisor role or something like that... then you can boss people around and yell "I DRIVE A MITSUBISHI GALANT!"

Lol yeah. Atleast get to listen to music all day. I will definitely have to listen to a wide variety so that I will never get bored.

Don't be impressed by what they drive - you don't know that they get paid a grippa tight wad of money just because they drive a $30k car.

Negotiate the hell out of your hourly wage as that is going to put you in the best position down the road. Getting paid higher from the start is always better than getting raises ... because most of the time a raise isn't above 7%.

Yeah $30K car isnt that expensive anyhow.

Really tho the job I will be on you dont get raises or anything. it's all incentive based so the faster you type the more you make, but you are guaranteed not to make less than $10.04/hour.

I can finally put in my 2 weeks notice at my current job, after yesterday I am happy to be quiting!
