ehh,....look around see if u can find a 307 for it if not you'll have to buy a harness or spend alot of money making it fit

anything will fit anything with enough money

wow I had this same car back in the day! I called it my pimpmobile! lol

sorry you lost the engine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

1983 Olds Delta 88's are only worth a few hundred. When they die, you bury them...LOL! Go find another car is my advice. When it comes to el cheapo old used cars, they're as disposable as old computers, TV's and home appliances. If you put a pile of money ino the old Olds, you still will just have a car worth a few hundred.

Try to find an Olds 455 engine. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
Olds 455 story: I had a 1970 Olds 98 LS in 1975. That engine was the high compression premium-burning one. Where two freeways came together in LA, the merging entrance road had two lanes....that suddenly went to ONE. Right besides me was a Rolls Royce. I mashed the gas and the 455 leaped up like nobody's business to carry my 5000 pounds of car and content forward, thus avoiding a massive wreck that would have massively ruined my insurance rates...LOL!

I've believed in 455's ever since.

I believe in the Olds 455, too. My father and I stuffed one equipped with a 4bbl (Rochester?) out of a '75 D88 into a '83 Bonneville 4 dr since both prior motors threw rods (factory 281ci V6 then the crappy 301ci). Loved that 455... iirc, it was 250hp and 350 ft-lbs. Talk about a sleeper of an early-mid 80's Bonneville. Because of the way the chassis was set up, we didn't have room to run a true dual exhaust, so we got a single 3" with a glass pack. Didn't sound too bad.... pretty deep and lopey.
