just got a speeding ticket

I feel everyone should be tested for reaction times yearly and given very rigorous driving assessments. Then a card is implanted on the license stating the speed limits for all roads types the individual is approved for. It seems quite simple to implement imo.
A card implanted on the license plate is not a realistic solution. That would make a cop finding out if a car is speeding a lot harder. Not only would they have to clock the speed of the car, they'd then have to chase it down to see if that speed is 'speeding' via the license plate, and then pull the car over to make sure the registered owner is driving. Not to mention, the time/cost needed to test everyone, re-test regularly (reaction times do change), etc. We cant even get people 80+ years old to take sight tests regularly to insure safety, you want this to apply to everyone, just so some people can drive faster than others? And, reaction time isn't even half the story of what makes a certain speed safe, personal decision making certainly factors in. Lastly, traffic flow would be ridiculous, with so many people having so many different legals speeds on the same stretch of road. Not even close to realistic, or simple to implement.

The shiney wheels incident sounds pretty far fetched and the noise pollution is warranted. There job is to worry about ALL the laws not just a few. Just another shithead trying to shift focus from their own irresponsible behavior.
Sounds to me like another worthless cop......according to him I can only have my volume on 8 and that's too loud bc he said he can hear it from 50 feet. Cops just need to take what little money they make and shove it up there own ***.

There was obviously no one robbing a bank or murdering others at the time, dummy.
ok well then I will keep that in mind next time I get pulled. I will jus tell the officer thank you for his time and his service to our community. Then I will get out and do a dance like your lil monkey friend

These chip implants would be able to communicate wirelessly with radar guns bro. The gun will be able to tell the office the speed limit of the individual and how fast they are going. Get out of the box man. this plan is so win.

Yes because "my head unit was on 8" somehow represents real world data on how loud your dumbass was playing music. If he could hear it, then it was too loud. Get over yourself.

I didnt pay all that money not to ****in play it....maybe if i put a little krispy kreme logo or sumthin on my truck they would cut me a break.

I feel the same way about my guns. I paid a lot of money for them, therefore I should be able to shoot them while I drive through residential areas.
shooting sumone and playing music too loud are 2 completely different things. I will get a $30 fine and you would get 30 years to life in prison. Sounds fair to me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Now you're just changing your plan. You said a card implanted on the plate. The remote data transfer plan you now cite is not a new idea. People have posed idea like automated speed monitoring equipment that notify the police when to send speeding tickets, but who wants big brother in their lives like that? Just so some people can drive a few miles an hour faster than others? And that sending device, if we are being realistic, would have to be attached to your license in you pocket, not the plate, as otherwise you would no longer be able to loan your car out to friends or family without screwing up your entire automated plan. Attaching this speed reading device to the cop's radar gun is pointless as well, if you want an automated system we already have satellites capable of telling you (or anyone who could 'read' your info) what speed you are traveling. And your new plan still doesnt address the problems caused to traffic flow and the driving hazards that would cause.

On a side note, many people with enough DUI's these days get a breathalyzer placed in their car. It *does* monitor speed, which is saved on the local HDD that cops monitor monthly, and (at least in some states) can lead to speeding tickets after the fact.

Or perhaps follow the European standard and make it a bit harder to get a license? Maybe so that every 15 year old can't get behind the wheel by memorizing the responses to 20 questions? The "drivers ed" program in this country is a joke. Most people here assume Germany has to have trillions more deaths on the highway because of derestricted speed limits..except for the simple fact that they know how to drive. You won't find a 15 year old blonde girl sitting in the left lane for hours on her cell phone. Getting a license there is hard, and expensive. People value them more and don't become ****tards.
