I dont know why everyone is saying you will hate it. Yes there are cheap ppl that will be pissed about having to pay for something, but its not bad. Its all about the ppl you have in your shop that will make the job fun or not.

What are you going to do when they fire you because you are making too much? Good luck with it but I would not count on CC as a paycheck forever they seem to always be hiring and firing.

Everyone thinks I am like a middle aged man. I am 17, making 4 bucks an hour more than most of my friends. They are flexible, crazy discounts on everything, and all the staff are cool their. I was eating hotdogs during work my first day.

go to burger king, order a small fry for $1 and get the reciept

there will be a survey on the back with a 800 number, screw that, just make up a number like this...BF43678 or anything like that and write it on the back(they dont look or even know anyway)

go back to burger king and order a whopper or chicken sandwich and tell them you have the "survey" coupon for a free sandwich(details are on it duh)

order a small fry and small coke with it for $1 each(you have to)

get the new receipt with the $2 order

repeat everytime you are hungry

mmm $2 for an original chicken sandwich, small fry and small coke

i've been installing at cc for about 2 months now, i like it better than any of my old jobs actually. the work i mean, as far as working for a big corporation that is only concerned about their pocketbook, i hate that. and you do have to deal with a lot of dipshits, you don't see to many people who actually know and appreciate good sound. i'm mostly in it for the experience though, i figure an installer has to start somewhere, most people dont get their first installing job doing custom work on bentleys.

#1 Your 17... so you aren't allowed in the roadshop as stated by circuit city sop(i don't know if that is where you are claiming you are working).

#2 They hired you in at $11.50!?!? ha, i find that hard to believe i was making barely 12bucks an hour after 3years.

#3 There is no comission... there is a bonus system for installers and management... but that is it.
