Just got a 42" 1080p LCD for $389....

People have been reporting BB just started this last night. There's a 6500+ reply thread on slickdeals with a ton of people reporting they returned stuff with no problems. Now I just have to jump through one extra hoop to get it done.
People lie on the internet. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Are you comparing them "out of the box" or have you taken the time to calibrate them? The best looking TV on the shelf isn't necessarily the best one once they're set up properly...
Umm, no I haven't messed with the settings what so ever on my 3400 dollar TV, lol!

Yes, I am comparing them out of the box. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

It's just my honest opinion. Maybe it is because it is 11" bigger in a smaller room, I don't know. Just seems to be grainy in a lot of shows, movies and so on. Not saying it is crap, because it deffintley is not. Watching live sports in HD is a blessing! Also getting used to the motion enhancer is hard, but you can turn that off. Overall is a nice TV, just wish it wasn't so much money.

Course I still have yet to make one payment on it, lol! 12 months same as cash on their site. Will be paying off come income tax time!

got my $$ back on the extras today for one of the TVs at the 3rd store i tried....going to do the same on the second tv tomorrow

You seriously haven't touched the settings on your TV?

It's probably still on 'dynamic' aka torch mode...lol.

At least run a calibration DVD...

Wow!

Are you adding to my sarcasm that I was using? Cause if you didn't pick up on that, then...................//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I have spent quite a bit of time setting it up to my liking.

westinghouse are know to be a very good "bang for your buck" lcd, hardly shitty
Alot of people say the same thing for audiobling, and pyle.

When you're spending $100 you get $100 product. When you spend $5000 you get a $5000 product.

All this talk of "bang for the buck" isn't necessary. *Usually* the price tells you the kind of quality you pay for.

'Dynamic' settings on my TV match up DEAD ON to Avia's setup disc. Hues, tints, and all.

so let me get this straight, you made $500 profit off of the wii's and then returned all other merchandise and kept the TV. You're saying you got a T.V. and an extra $111 out of all this?
Pretty much, yeah. Obviously I wouldn't have gotten the Wii's if I had never bought the TV's since I wouldn't have been at BB in the first place.
