well, both places i went were dicks and wouldnt let me return the shit, but they said i can come back next week and return them for gift cards, delete the transaction, then ring it up again and use the gift cards to pay for the tv. i also bought 4 wii's today. money.

And.... what was their rationale behind refusing the return?

its not even smart when you think about the fact that they have to mark that money up somewhere else. thats why you have to buy 4 other things and fraudulently try to swindle/return them. it's not even a deal, it's scamming the company out of their profits on the 4 other things they make you buy.

who said its fraud? what if im not satisfied with my $400 speaker purchase? what am i not allowed to return them just cause i got a deal?

they said i could return them but the price of the tv would go back up. from what i read, BB just figured out what people were doing and are no longer allowing them to return stuff. looks like i was a day too late on that, but the gift card idea will still work.

I say still enjoy your TV. Is a nice budget TV and I have a 46" Sony Bravia XBR that I paid some cheese for and I personally think my picture on HD and SD is better on my Westinghouse. It just don't have the connections like my Sony has or the good Blacks and some other cool things the Sony has. But I would say the picture looks better. Not like day and night difference, but compared to the money, I would say better, lol!

I gave my brother the Westinghouse deal and bought the 42" Samsung 720p plasma they had on sale....got it for $549, original price $1399 (on sale this week for $1049 - $500 discount)

Are you comparing them "out of the box" or have you taken the time to calibrate them? The best looking TV on the shelf isn't necessarily the best one once they're set up properly...

The Samsung 42" 720p plasma is on sale for $1049 - $500 discounts = $549, plus you get a $100 nflshop.com gift card by mail.

As far as the Wii's go, we were there trying to return the extra stuff and they were putting some on the shelf behind customer service. So my brother and I both bought one, then we went across town to other BB and got lucky again. Both places sold out of them before we left (they each had 11 that they got in stock). I sold 3 of them on Craigslist for $375 each and 1 on ebay for $415. Here's your BS flag:

People have been reporting BB just started this last night. There's a 6500+ reply thread on slickdeals with a ton of people reporting they returned stuff with no problems. Now I just have to jump through one extra hoop to get it done.
