I just ordered them off the site. Ill be running these off a jbl 1200.1 for now. Maybe 2 eventually once i see what they can handle. These will be going in the back of an '04 rsx beleive it or not. I kind of want to go ported but what is the smallest ported box 2 of these will sound good in? thanks everyone!

You can do 3.2 to 3.5 cubes vented to the low 30's if you want to go with a smaller vented enclosure other than what we list on our web page.

I think that is per sub. SI's site says 4cuft ported I believe.

yeah, so basically you'd have to prolly take up the entire rear hatch are below window line. I would give 6.5 cubes net @30hz....subs an port firing up towards hatch window. OH GOD, that would be sickeningly loud and sound amazing. peace

Eh, tune to 35hz or lower and he should be fine.

Are there guidelines on tuning a sealed enclosure? I heard that the bigger the enclosure (sealed), the lower it is tuned.

no, there is no such thing as tuning with a sealed enclosure. Tuning only applies to ported enclosures...peace

Sub Sonic Filter - filters out those nasty lows that your sub can't produce in an enclosure!
