Just for verification on my first real subwoofer install...

Working on my first install where i have to beef up the electrical and wanted to just make sure im not missing anything as im very new to the car audio game. Heres a sketch up of what i think needs to be done. Is there anything im missing or does this look about right? I know this is simple to most of you guys but we all start somewhere!

Fuses need to be as close to the battery as possible

You need a fuse between both batteries

Why do you want to run your voice coils in series? What sub what amp?

Ok then, you have your subwoofer wired wrong in the diagram (I am assuming you have the Dual 2 ohm config)

You want to connect the positives together and then the negatives together.

That will give you a final ohm load of 1 ohm

if for some reason you have the dual 1 ohm config then more discussion is needed as your choices are either .5 ohm or 2 ohm final load

Oh ok gotcha. Yea i have the d2 and plan on running at 1 ohm. Appreciate the help like i said im a noob with this stuff
