I would say the 9500, not because I own one, I know there are better out there, but because all the new RF subs I've heard sound terrible.

i have only had a chance to listen to the t1 12 and that was in a store,,, real car audio in vehicle may change that sound quite a bit

9500's can get very loud.

never heard a T2 here, but i do know 9500s can get loud. i think rockford is turning into a company more about bling than performance (so are all the other manufacturers....except net comps.)

my vote is for the 9500, the older rockfords IMO are better than their newer stuff but thats my thought

neither. Go re or jl. Neither of those subs are that great. I hate the 9500's for sure. My sq based subs destroyed 2 15's with a pair of the big mtx amps strapped. And they crap out at the high and the losw. Mid bass was good though. Better subs out there and if you go re they are cheaper

actually i have experience with both and as for spl they both are a good comparison.imo installed correctly the 9500 will have a slight edge on the t2 but both are great woofers. not woofers i would choose but they are good woofers no doubt. also the t2 can handle more power but the output tends to roll off after 1200 rms. we tried throwing 1600 rms at it and did the same with the 9500. 9500 got louder but really didnt like the power. there for if you dont overpower the 9500 it would take the t2 in spl.

Older Fosgate would be the only ones I would ever consider having. And then, it would have to be pretty cheap for me to buy it.

i don't see how you can say the 9500 doesnt play the lows. i could send constant tones to my 9512 and it never even sweat and play them better than any subs i had owned in the past. and the subwoofer in your stereo systme is not supposed to play the "highs" as you call it. That's where components or a dedicated midbass setup come in to play.

thanks for the input guys, my only concern with re is how do i gettem,, al i really hear from re is great things... i know rf and mtx are mainstream, good drivers and can hold there own. but, how do re sound and how much power could u run to a single 15, i wanna stay in the 1000w rms league. i have a t10001 rf amp so i kinda wanna see what sub would best be suited for this amp,, anyother thoughts

God dammn I hate these threads...it all depends on the install! PERIOD!

For example: Toxic Tuan (think is his name) has ONE 10" L7 which hit 149db (i think). I had two 15" L7s that hit 150.6 he could more than likely make his louder than mine if he had more time to complete his setup, considering he didn't even have two hours. Then there was some 10" L7s that Polecat posted that hit high 150s.

It all depends on the install man. I can make a pair of Sony Xplods louder than whatever you get if your install is a pos.
