Just confused the shiit outta myself!

So if i have 2 d2 subs and i want to wire them to a 2ch amp how would i wire the subs or each sub?
Subs 2 re sx's d2

amp specs:

1200 watts RMS x 2 @ 1 ohm stereo

600 watts RMS x 2 @ 2 ohms stereo

300 watts RMS x 2 @ 4 ohms stereo

2400 watts RMS x 1 @ 1 ohms mono
that doesnt make sense. for the amp to make 1200x2 at 1 ohm it should be able to make 2400x1 at 2 ohms...or so I think.

with those coils I would wire the subs to 2 ohm and bridge the channels

Each channel is 1ohm stable. The final load will only change if you bridge channels because each channel will only see half the load. Our amp gets full power when each channel sees 1 ohm. Therefore you need to wire the coils together in parallel and connect 1 sub to each channel. The alternative option would be to wire the subs in series for 4 ohms per sub then wire the subs together in bridged for a final load of 2 ohms (1 ohm per channel).
