Just brought the DEH-P780MP from ebay

hey..i just brought this deck from Sonic Electronic throught ebay for 353.00 shipped today to replaced my alpine cda9855 (tired of the glidestrip thing). The date expected to arrived is May 1. 2006. Just wondering if anyone has have a hands on it or own one yet.

in response to your edit, i hate, no loath alpine decks so i'm biased. IMO though, at the price you paid, i would have gotten an 880 but you'll like the deck.

it is from a authorize dealer or ebay??

And yea i couldve gotton the p880rs..but i didnt want to..

the p880 is a cool deck..but im not into black/white OEL..(wish it was color like the p780..then it will be really cool)

you are TOTALLY right!!!

fancy looks/visual customization>sound wise/audio customization

that's why i bought myself a pioneer and it sounded MUCH better than my previous 9815... of course this is all due to the dolphins that swims on it and all the other screensaver... that added a MUCH better SQ to it, not to mention it's signal is much stronger cos of it

go Pioneer all the way... if it looks better, then it's GOT to sound better

technically it's from neither. i got it direct from premier about 2 weeks ago actually. my best man from my wedding owns a shop and i got it direct on accomodation price from pioneer.
