outsourced. just like the iforce amps and dc ref. the upper lines of speakers are sort of expensive tho.Very nice pick up. Although, I do have to wonder why Zapco's components are so affordable and their amps are so friggin expensive.
but arent they so sexy?Yeah, they are designed and made by ESB, an Italian audio company. And yeah the competition series gets a bit pricey... ~$550
looks are subjective. and by the looks of that man in your avatar, i dont trust your judgement.Meh, I have to say that my Seas G18s are better looking. I think that big *** motor is a little much for a set of SQ oriented components
I understand that the motor size doesn't dictate sound quality. I just don't see why they spent the extra cash on something that is really not needed. However, now that I look at the rest of your posts, I am assuming that those are 5.25"s, so the motor doesn't seem as oversized in retrospect.looks are subjective. and by the looks of that man in your avatar, i dont trust your judgement.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/offwall.gif.29a91b9b265d47af4b8e33fc5b558d18.gif
just playing man. motor size is pretty irrelevant when it comes to judging a speakers accuracy and tone. might as well bag on the shade of black they are too..
actually all of those are 6.5"s. you would have noticed. the comp mid has 6.5" written on it. the ref mid pictured has the 165 model number. i dont really have any decent pics of the 5.25" motor. you should see the 4" ref models. those look mean.I understand that the motor size doesn't dictate sound quality. oh, but i did. you just have to do the rest of the hw.Those do like like sechs to my eyes haha... I saw pics of the 4" on the Zapco site... they look like they're on steroids lol... You still didn't answer about how much power you're giving them tho...
maxed out from the deck to the EQ to the gains.... you could say that it conservatively has 150 watts a side. however, it even fools me into thinking its running at least 3x that much. it sounds so good and it flat out screams. marleyskater420 was somewhat blown away by their performance. and it has more range and gets even louder with the comp mids in it now than it was when he heard it last.Lol you said what amp you're using... the C2k-6.0 which is rated at 150x2@4ohms... but you didn't say how you set your gains //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
