What is a component amp?

Yes, change the tweeters in you doors. The tweeters from that set will sound much better than the tweeters you have in there now, no matter how harsh they are. Also, make sure you connect the tweeters to the crossover that comes with the set, not your factory tweeter wires.

Wow I hope he isn't serious on his last few responses. Just run the complete component set including the alpine tweeters off of the rockford fosgate 200 watt amp you have listed in your sig. They will sound better than stock and better than the tweeters you are currently running off of the head unit. If you heard the alpine tweeters have problems why did you order the component set?

whoops i assumed that was obvious .. but yeah use the crossovers that come with the set

Are you being serious when you ask what a component amp is? Even though you have it listed in your sig? Or did you just see it listed in some other members sig and decide to put it in your own?
