Alright, just bought some alpine SPS-600C components. Anybody heard em before. I'm hoping they will be awesome! It's also my first component set so im really excited to here these. Anybody know how good they are, or how good alpines comps are? Thanks.

They seem to get pretty good reviews. I had a set of older alpine type-r components and they sounded good, the tweeter was a little harsh though. they should sound good especially running off an external amp . Also aren't you supposed to ask about things before you buy? Not after you already bought them.

i was going to buy the pg's yesterday but i got these instead. They are rated better, so i had to go with em. Going to change it now.

They should sound alright. I have the phoenix gold rsd comps. now and I think they sound a lot better than the older style type-r set I had.

would it be better to just not install the tweeter since i already have tweeters running from my head unit. Do i need them, because i heard they are hard to deal with

I had a set for about a week or so until I removed them took them back to best buy and bought a set of type R comps, they sound good, not SQ audiophile good but 1000X better then my stock speakers did...And the type R comps I have now are even better sounding...

well, basically i have seperate tweeters in my door. Maybe their running from my speakers i dont know. But, do i need to have the tweeters that come with the component set installed or not? Thats all i need to know. Thanks.

I dont care if i get flamed. Half the time im trying to type so fast and don't even text the right shit. I just bought these things and their being shipped still. I just want to know if the tweeters for the comps are necessary if i already have some. I heard they caused problems anyway.
