Just bought the Morel Maximo 6's!

hand built at a chinese build house I even doubt there high end line is hand built from start to finish. I mean its possible but I would put all my money on they dnt. But I am not dumping on morel cause guess what every audio company in the world does the same exact thing. Either built in china, korea, and other countrys in that area.

Just because it's made in "China" does not mean it's junk. Alot of reputable manufactures products are from China & some are **** good. but like any country, you have your complete junk too.

EITHER WAY, you got a smoking deal on decent speakers & you will love them. Who cares if they are hand made, it doesn't matter.

I am 100% sure the speakers you bought were not hand built from start to finish. That is a FACT. But again I guess will have to say it again Morel is like AQ, AB, Etc alot if not all of there stuff is mass produced and are being built in 3rd wrld countrys. Thats a fact nothing incorrect about it.

FYI my most loved amp was my AQ2200

I just e-mailed the guy at their company, It shoiuld be interseting what their response if any is. I dont know if they are or not, but truly in the end it does not matter as long as they are good quality.

Maybe they will tell you the truth or maybe they will do the smart thing and say what they are paid to say and that is to say exactly what the company has told and trained them to say. Again it’s not a bad thing and I never said it was. Almost every single thing I have ever used in my setups was not hand built, us made, equipment. It was massed produced does that mean human hands never touched it during the build process? No that is not what I said or was saying. You got a steal already said that 3 times. I was just making a statement.

I agree. Find where I said they were not good? Now go find all the posts that say I think you got a steal. You will be more then happy with them and they will walk those clarions you currently are running in output and clarity. Need more power now but dont we all....

Im not mad dude chill, you right they may lie. I am curious as to what they will say though. I also have never had anything that wasn't mass produced as these will be my nicest speakers to date.

Speaking of that I have never tried using a 2 channel amp such as the one i have to run 4 speakers other than subs. would it sound ok or should i just run the fronts off my quart amp untill i can get a 4 channel?

the one is my sig: MB Quart DSC 2150 (DSC2150) 2-Channel Amplifier

at 4 ohms it is perfect for the fronts , but if i hook the front and rear together the amp would see a 2 ohm load wich would let it power all 4 new speakers i just have never tried this with anything except subs and wondered if it would sound ok. The fronts on 1 channel and the rears on another or left and right setup?

No leave as u have now. If you need more power then get a bigger amp. Be a shame to see those new speakers burn up even before they break in LOL. Sell ur current amp on craigs for 60-70 then get a decent budget 4 channel

Thanks. I'm gonna buy a pair of the 6X9s. Then I can finally amplify the rears in my buick and not sound like trash. I hope they sound smooth!

I liked my mbq onx4.125 so much I got friend to buy a MB QUART Q4.150 4-CHANNEL CAR AUDIO AMPLIFIER 880W | eBay. Good sq, rated power, decent quality and look.
