Just bought the Morel Maximo 6's!

Kind of bought these on an impulse, I was stuck between these and the pioneer ts d1720c's about two weeks ago and went with the pioneers.

I love the tweets and midrange on the pioneers (although the tweets are a little bright), its lacking so much midbass though.

So I just bought the morel maximo's because they are on a huge sale, they are only 81 dollars right now!

There is so much talk about these speakers, but nobody has given me first hand experience feedback.

i also just ordered a set and I got the 6x9 to go with them for like $38 more. My total was $120 with free shipping for 4 handbuilt morels that from what everyone says are great. I also was curious for first hand experience. I guess we will have to give our opinion of them.

New morels I know lil about but early 2000's they for sure built some quality equipment. Not to bust anyones bubble but those are not hand built thay are mass produced. Very lil is hand built from start to finish these dayz...

Yeah I wasn't expecting them to be hand built, although that would be pretty cool.

Either way, I'm beyond excited, hopefully they won't be a disappointment.

Yes and No. Hands do touch them but are they hand built??? Not a chance...

Some are made by hand, some are not. It's when you get to the $500+ range is where hand-built comes into play.

mine are supposed to be here thursday and I plan on insalling this coming saturday if i can wait that long.

hand built at a chinese build house I even doubt there high end line is hand built from start to finish. I mean its possible but I would put all my money on they dnt. But I am not dumping on morel cause guess what every audio company in the world does the same exact thing. Either built in china, korea, and other countrys in that area.
