Just blew my amp or....I really dont know...

So im driving along, got the stereo turned up a bit but not cranked and all of a sudden I lost all bass im like wtf a fuse just blew...pull over..no fuses blown anywhere but then I see my Cap is dead. Its not reading anything no power light....but amp is still on. So I disconnect the cap and still nothing...amp turns on and still no blown fuses but got no sound out of it. Sadly I don't have another amp laying around to check but waiting for a buddy to get back to me to see if he has one. Other than that its going to a buds audio shop to see what is wrong.

No expert on amps but you could have blown out the speaker terminals. Happened on my 4 ch amp

How did you do that I think I just did it? how did you fix it?

well my fuse block running from my second battery to my sub amp melted into the subs wires due to my friends poor crimping skills and that somehow ended up making the 4 ch amp burn out a channel. Very complicated to explain on here haha. I only blew one channel and it happened to be one of the rears which I don't really care about because in my extended cab truck my box blocks the speakers anyway so now im just running my front stage focals which I don't mind. I know that doesn't help at all but in my case I don't need my rear speakers

Possible but that doesn't explain the cap.

Well found out it wasn't my amp....my rca cable broke and the plug of one of channels is stuck un the input channel of the amp. Im using my buds memphis amp for now...so gotta figure out how to get the plug end out of there. Just looking at it you cant even see it....but if you shine light into the input you can see the gold part of the broken rca cable
