A ruler or tape measure and a pencil, or even a nail and string, its pita imo. Just poke two holes in a piece of cardboard the proper distance apart (radius of cutout). Viola, poor man's one-time use compass.

i like the cardboard idea... I already did it with the electrical wire, but ill probably do the cardboard next time.....or the piece of metal...

I don't get how you guys do it with the string and the pencil.. if you angle the pencil at all, or switch the vertical degree your holding the pencil, the circle will be wobbly the whole way around it.....

Glassing the box tomorrow, and should have it up n runnin by wed.

just finished puttin resin on it (1130PM).. should have it installed by 2PM tomorrow (if anyone thinks thats to early after putting resin on a box, lemme know)... I will post pics tomorrow if I have time.. vids once they get broken in, if its anything to show off...which I'm hoping it will be

i have a compass that does a 12" radius.. got it from menards.

its just a ruler w/ 2 sliding pieces/ one is a pin and one is a pencil.

Alright, so how do I hook this thing up... Its a dual 1 ohm.. I want it to run at 2 ohms..

So this is what I have....



My DMM is showing 0.2 ??????????

Its a Dual 1 sub. Wire the coil in series, then hook them up to the amp.

Take one of the postives from one coil and one of the negatives from the other coil and hook that up to your amp.

Then take the remaining positive and negative from each coil and hook them together. Done.

check out the other pics.. im pretty sure thats what I did.. Just have NO IDEA why im showing .2ohms...thats not even an option of wiring.

Good question, I know FI subs ohm loads tend to be off a lil, that maybe whats going on but im not sure.

ahhh. i think i see the problem... I went amp + to sub - on the left side, then amp - to sub + on the same side... I think I have to put the amp + and - on different V.C's
