Josh McDaniels

Gonzalez, Clark, Collie, Both RB's and some other guys are injured and Peyton is still able to do as good as he is. He threw 4 Int's and the game still went to overtime, they barely lost. He is doing great, not on par with his usual greatness but great none the less.
Good points. Just about any other team surely would of feel apart badly by now.

Every great wide receiver had a QB make them. Rice was at San Fran. forever and had two good qb's those years. Michael Irvin had Troy Aikman, Marvin Harrison Had Peyton. You watch Reggie play, his moves and catches makes him a great WR
Steve Smith put up better numbers than Reggie in his prime, & he played w/ pop-warner QB's in an offense that is 95% run.

- He's to blame for the loss of Jay Cutler. And whether Broncos fans are willing to admit it or not, Jay IS a franchise QB.

- He brought in 4 different QBs in less than two seasons (Kyle Orton, Chris Simms, Brady Quinn and Tim Tebow).

- He overpaid for Tebow, who should've never been drafted in the 1st round...especially when the QB you currently have is young and performing just fine.

- He squandered the draft picks acquired from the Jay Cutler trade. Seriously, he traded a 2010 first for a 2009 2nd and then wasted it on a player who was cut after 1 season.

- He's at least partially to blame for the loss of Mike Nolan, who turned one of the worst defenses in the NFL into a very good squad IN ONE SEASON.

- He did NOTHING to pacify Brandon Marshall. Imagine how deadly the Broncos WR corp would be with Brandon Lloyd AND Brandon Marshall.

- He traded Peyton Hillis, a bonafide beast, AND a draft pick for a shit QB who couldn't win a legit starting job with the Cleveland Browns.

It's amazing he lasted as long as he did...

And Steve Smith was the best weapon on the team. Shit Wayne can't be that greedy. Look at how many threats the Colts have at WR tho. You can't just throw to one person with all that talent out there.

Mushin Muhammad was the go-to receiver. Also, Stephen Davis & DeShaun Foster were the 2 main focal points on offense.

Steve Smith has nearly 9,000 receiving yards and 50+ TDs, dude. That's damn impressive...especially so when you consider just how bad the Panthers' have traditionally been at the QB position. If the dude had played with Manning or Brady, he'd be a guaranteed first ballot Hall Of Famer...

I'm well aware, but his best statistical years were 03-05, when he was the 2nd option @ WR behind Muhammad.

Jerry Rice was @ the SF-Car game this year & talked w/ the Panthers broadcast team. He said he honestly felt, given the right situation-such as he had in SF, that Steve would have broken several of his records.

You must not watch much football, dude. The Bears are 9-3, have won 5 straight games, are undefeated in their division and are the #2 seed in the NFC currently. In the last 5 games, Cutler has thrown for 1,062 yds, 10 TDs and 3 INTs.

The argument is settled. Jay Cutler is the real deal. The Bears are a couple offensive linemen and an NFL level WR away from being legit year in/year out Superbowl contenders...

When he wins a playoff game we'll talk.
