What a card so far for the ufc fight night. All I wanted to see all week was roy nelson put up a big win, that was a great overhand right for the win. Nothing like a fat guy with a mullet knocking out a 6'11" monster. Looking forward to seeing kenflo giving gomi a lesson, but you never know gomi does have a cannon of a right hand.

Not a huge fan of Roy personally... Couldn't really stand his *** on The Ultimate Fighter, him and fukkin McSweeney. I was hoping "tits" or kimbo would make it to be honest. I always hated Kimbo Slice until I watched him on that show, now I would have to say I am a fan.

I also hated kimbo at first, but after watching the show he seemed extremely respectful and really wanted to learn.

I disagree... You should have seen my *** when I first started MMA... I had never been in a fight and I was a wrestler for 6 years and that is all I knew. The first few months where HELL on my wrists, I couldn't throw a punch to save my life....

way different situation.. Hes old.. A streetfighter with ( like I said ) no athletic background or experience in any amateur sports.. He will never have the "it" mindset... He will always want to brawl, even tho he wants to learn, he will plateau in about a year, max, and that will be it

good points, except the age thing. however I don't think a background in sports makes any difference at all honestly. How many former NFL players tried to fight... "Big Baby" didn;t have any type of background did he? not that he was great or anything but sometime brute strength can be just as good of a foundation as "skills" from 20 years ago...

Then you have Lesner, look at his background... and IMO, not an impressive MMA fighter...
