Yes. Id never pay that much for an amp that only puts out 1000W

But do you think it would be a huge difference in sound in a sedan for with a ported enclosure? The 12W7 would be going off of a JL 1000/1 and the 10W7 would be going off a 500/1 (basically a 600$ difference for the 12 over the 10) Is it worth it?

^^^^I can worry about the price of the amp later my main question is this. ^^^^^^

Id get the 12 either way.

They tend to go deeper than 10's and i like my lows
