I am building the box for a future jl 10" w6v2. I plan on buying the JL grille also. Does the grill just push directly onto the speaker or is there something else that attatches the grill to the speaker.

I basically want to know if i flush mount the sub will 11" work for the outer part of the baffle?

I know on a pair of w3 grilles i use to have about 6 years ago there was a mount that sat underneath the speaker. The grill then attatched to this mount.

thanks for any help.

Good choice, nice speakers, I'm in the process of changing my pair of 12w3v2 for a pair of 10w6v2.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

The speaker grille is a "push-on" type, just like the ones on the w3v2s which I have. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif They are a little tricky to put in:mad: , but once it's definately worth it.

With how much power are you feeding them?

At first i will run them ported at 4 ohms with 750 watts:p: , then after a few months I will change the amp to maybe a crossfire vr1000d at 1 ohm //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif .

I think that with 1000 watts for the pair should be more than enough for me.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif
