JL vs Kenwood (midrange speakers)

I can’t decide which is better the JL VR525 CX or the Kenwood KFC-XR501 Dual mag speakers. Or what else would you suggest in this price range? Unfortunately living in a small city in South Africa prevents me from hearing these speakers before I buy them so any input would be much appreciated.

i would think JL i have never heard kenwood so im basing it on my opinion plus im kinda douting kenwood but others will reply and they know.

are you kidding, JL vs. Kenwood? i dont even imagine that being fair. go with the JL

JL would be better sounding than the Kenwood. Also look at Crystal or CDT Audio. Both are highly underrated companies and in my opinion a lot better sounding than most JL's. BUt As you see I have a pair of JL's so I'm not saying they are complete crap, just suggesting some other options.

Check out Boston Acoustics, Eclipse, Alpine, Diamond, Crystal, etc...

It is really too bad that you do not have the opportunity to listen to anything

If you have narrowed it down to the JL's vs the Kenwood's...I bet I would go with the JL's. That is just personal preference, though.
