In a single cab, might as well just go with 2 subs (w3s). They will boom and sound nice, and you can save the extra space.

the w3's would be easier anyway because i already have the alpine amp and i can get the w3's for $360 from acaraudio and while the w1's would be $450

Latest and greatest of any audio equipment is the way to go. There is always improvement in the driver technically. I would say its worth the extra $60.

wow what a goodday!!!! i called a local shop and thy have 12" w3v2's for $150!! and 12" w3v3's for $190 , thinki should get the v3's ?
